President Alexander Lukashenko has congratulated the authorities, personnel and veterans of the Belarusian customs service on their professional holiday and the 25th anniversary of the formation of the Belarusian customs service.
"For a quarter-century, you have been in control of the country’s foreign trade flows, introducing modern inspection technologies, creating favourable conditions for conscientious participants of foreign economic relations, countering cross-border crime and illegal trade", the message reads.
Alexander Lukashenko believes that the Belarusian customs officers will continue carrying out their duties competently, completing state tasks on protecting the country’s economic interests.
