Today the President of Belarus has met with Deputy Prime Minister Vladimir Semashko and the professionals involved in the negotiations to again clarify the nuances of the agreements. As stressed by Alexander Lukashenko, Belarus requires equal terms for all economic entities.

As reported by the Deputy Prime Minister, the oil and gas issues have been resolved. The protocol pegs the prices to the prices within Russia. It is noted that the price of gas for our country will be significantly reduced. In this case Russia will restore the volume of oil supplies, and Belarus will reduce the price for the transit of hydrocarbons.

The parties are now preparing the Belarusian-Russian intergovernmental agreement in connection with the creation of a single electricity market in the EAEU scheduled for July 1, 2019.
