The development of relations between Belarus and Kazakhstan was discussed at today's meeting of the President with the Ambassador of this country Askar Beisenbayev. A lot has been done for Minsk - Nur-Sultan cooperation, as well as on the Eurasian integration track. The countries are committed to the development of trade and industrial cooperation. Governments are now working on a roadmap for cooperation for the coming years. This stimulates trade despite the pandemic.
Kazakhstan could count on Belarus, which did not close during the pandemic and worked. Kazakhstanis could return to their homeland through Minsk only. Difficulties with coronavirus have affected overall trade. The Belarusian-Kazakh turnover did not reach the desired level of one billion dollars. Nevertheless, there is a solid foundation to build up cooperation and develop new projects.
