The Presidents of Belarus and Turkmenistan have started a negotiation day with one-on-one talks in the Oguzkhan Palace. Belarus-Turkmenistan relations are developing on a solid economic basis. The countries can essentially increase the volume of mutual trade in the long run. So far, the figure currently stands at 300 million dollars.

The full-fledge dialogue is proved by a large-scale joint project - the Garlyk mining and processing plant. The facility has created a new industry in Turkmenistan and is a landmark image-building project for Belarus in Central Asia. According to Alexander Lukashenko, Belarus is ready to share experience with Turkmenistan in various spheres.

After the one-on-one conversation, the politicians were joined by delegations. One of the discussed topics was logistics. Many countries regard Turkmenistan as a platform for trading with other regions, including Iran, Pakistan, India and Arab countries, which is why Belarus is ready to provide Turkmenistan with logistics centers in order to organize product deliveries to Europe.
