Belarus and UAE to continue developing friendly relations

This was announced by President and Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi in the Palace of Independence today. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan also holds the post of Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the United Arab Emirates. The distinguished guest was met according to all the canons of the solemn ceremony.

The keynote of the meeting is cooperation between Belarus and the UAE in various fields.

It is not the first year that the countries are  building a strong framework of relations and projects. The investors from the Emirates are implementing a project to build a hotel in Minsk with a total value of $ 240 million. In general, the trade turnover between the two countries shows a growth,  as compared to the last year, by 133%. This is 55 million dollars. 

Alexander Lukashenko and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan planted a tree near the Independence Palace.

Belarus will continue to develop cooperation with the UAE along the military-technical line. Our country intends to conclude a new contract for the supply of tanks.
