From global issues of Belarusian capital development to specific solutions for Minskers discussed by Head of State and local authorities

The presidential schedule has recently included more than one meeting in the regions: meetings with regional management teams have already been held in Mogilev Region, Grodno Region, Brest Region and the central region. This is an opportunity to discuss all the painful points of development - from the work of the real sector, investment activity to improvement of the city and major social projects.  And the mayor's office should promptly respond to the challenges of modern life to ensure timely development and renewal of Minsk.

A quarter of the Belarusian economy, more than two million people, the country's largest economic and industrial center, a tenth of direct investment - all this is a recognizable image of the Belarusian capital.

Now the capital is strikingly different, as compared to 10 years ago. Minsk is actively building up, from sports facilities, to the airport, water park, and business areas. Today the capital is trusted to hold not only  the most important national, but also international sport events.

The city has convenient transport links. Subway line No. 3 will help unload the capital: the builders are in a hurry. In several years Minsk will be connected to the airport by a train.

The city requires new technology, a digital revolution for the real sector, medicine and education. Minsk is the cluster of IT development,  the Belarusian silicon valley.

In fact, Minsk should become a model while maintaining its current boundaries. 2 million inhabitants are the ceiling of the capital's population. With the current structure of the city, it becomes incredibly difficult to cope with the influx of new residents. In short, the capital should remain within the ring road. And not a step more!

The satellite towns will be helping Minsk. Their relevance is growing today.
