Alexander Lukashenko said this at a meeting with the foreign minister of this country. The President notes that the current level of interaction can not be considered satisfactory. The countries can not boast of a decent turnover. Since 2015, exports of Belarusian goods have declined sharply due to import restrictions.
This is the result of the economic recession caused by the fall of world oil prices. Nevertheless, our exporters are trying to establish a dialogue in the field of supplies of machinery and food. Last year four memorandums of cooperation were signed at the Algerian international exhibition. MAZ, MTZ, Gomselmash and the Academy of Sciences presented their developments there.
The common goal of official Minsk and Algeria is to bring cooperation to a new level. It is the largest state in Africa and an important partner of Belarus on this continent.
