President puts forward new rural development strategy during his working visit to Minsk region

During his working visit to the Minsk region, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko suggested to choose several promising villages in each district to build on affordable housing for the villagers. The President visited the agricultural enterprise Ozeritsky-Agro. An important conversation topic was, of course, the sowing campaign. This season, Belarus expects to harvest no less than last year.

Alexander Lukashenko paid a visit to the dairy farm Zadomlya unique in its milking equipment. Still, the main consumer of Belarusian milk is Russia. However, the diversification programme is designed for third-country markets. A test batch has been sent to China. A major issue discussed in the Smolevichi district was the development of agrotourism. The President also examined the infrastructure of the Sosnovaya recreation centre.
