The countries implement agreements, according to the roadmap, which is calculated until next year. Minsk and Dushanbe are connected by large-scale projects in industrial cooperation. Strengthening economic ties was discussed today at a meeting of the President with the Ambassador of Tajikistan. There are friendly relations between the leaders of Belarus and Tajikistan. Last year, Alexander Lukashenko visited Dushanbe twice. The day before, the Presidents talked during the EEU summit in Nur-Sultan.
The whole range of issues of bilateral cooperation between Belarus and Tajikistan was discussed today at the Palace of Independence. Tajikistan today is called the main contender for joining the Eurasian Union. Representative offices of more than a dozen Belarusian brands work in Tajikistan: MTZ, MAZ, Amkodor, BelAZ, Gomselmash. In autumn, it is expected to launch a joint venture for the processing of milk and meat. A year ago, they began to collect our agricultural equipment. Moreover, Tajik specialists work at the enterprise. Last year, the trade turnover between the countries amounted to about 37 million dollars. Belarus is among the twenty major trade partners of Tajikistan.
