President Alexander Lukashenko demanded the Government to do everything possible to preserve skilled workers in the labour market at yesterday’s meeting on the situation in the sphere. The President pointed out such disturbing trends as the decrease in the employed population and the growth of part-time employment. At the same time, the main task is to prevent social tension in society and labour collectives.
According to Prime Minister Andrei Kobyakov, the situation in Belarus’ labour market is stable and under control. Measures taken earlier allow keeping unemployment within socially acceptable limits, as well as providing necessary guarantees and compensation to the population.
