Official visit of President of Belarus to India starts. The solemn ceremony of the meeting of Alexander Lukashenko took place in the presidential palace Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi.
India is famous for its rich culture, numerous traditions and especially hospitality. In New Delhi, the Belarusian leader was welcomed with a magnificent ceremony, which speaks of a special relationship between the countries. On the way to the residence of the Indian leader, the Belarusian motorcade was accompanied by cavalry. Alexander Lukashenko was greeted by his colleague Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The national anthems of the two countries were performed. A cremonial salute was given in honour of the President of Belarus.
Today, Alexander Lukashenko is scheduled to hold talks with the President and Prime Minister of India. The parties will discuss the bilateral cooperation, as well as new opportunities for investment partnership. As a result of the talks, the parties are expected to sign several agreements.
