Alexander Lukashenko completes his official visit to Tajikistan

Minsk and Dushanbe are ready to strengthen their political dialogue and support each other in the world arena. These are the results of the official visit of the Belarusian President to Tajikistan. Specific steps have already been taken to ensure the strategic partnership – a roadmap for bilateral cooperation has been signed.

Another important joint project was officially launched. In Hisor, an assembly production of Belarusian agricultural machinery was officially opened. It is oriented in part to the markets of third countries. On the occasion of the launch of the enterprise, the Presidents opened a memorable sign here. This site in Hisor is expected to become a real industrial cluster.

Alexander Lukashenko and Emomali Rahmon got acquainted with the production process – the output is expected to be about 500 vehicles a year, but there is an opportunity to expand it in case the demand is grows. The President of Belarus supported the idea that part of the units for the machinery should be produced directly in Tajikistan. The two presidents also talked about the training of local specialists at the assembly enterprises in Belarus.

These days, the presidents of the two countries held large-scale negotiations, and representatives of the business circles of Minsk and Dushanbe signed a number of contracts at the business forum. On Tuesday, Tajikistan hosted the opening of the National Exhibition of Belarus. The exhibition will continue its work for another week owing to the great interest on the part of businessmen from a number of countries.
