Today, the Palace of Independence was in the power of beauty and courage. The President bestowed state awards to the honored people of the country.
It is symbolic that our defenders received the awards on the eve of the Belarusian Police Day. They often risk their lives to ensure peace and tranquility in the country. It is nice that the women's holiday is also coming. Orders, medals and honorary titles were awarded to beautiful women. Many of them are mothers with many children, bringing up four children and still waiting for a new addition to the family. And it is surprising that not all of them are housewives. They perform military service on an equal footing with men, conduct sophisticated operations and are responsible for raising the new generation. Of course, the mood, given the situation, is not very spring-like. But, as the head of state noted, a day of celebration is much needed in these tense times.
The President wished everyone peace and well-being!
While presenting general's shoulder straps and well-deserved awards, the President thanked the men and, in their person, all of our army and security services for their service. Alexander Lukashenko wished everyone good health, peace, well-being and long life.
