President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has congratulated Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and the people of that country on their national holiday - Independence Day, the press service of the Belarusian leader reported.
"Despite the constant pressure from the U.S. and its allies, who do not stop trying to impose their values on us and maintain their own world order, Minsk and Caracas continue to follow their own path of development, focused on creating a fair multipolar world," reads the greeting. - I am convinced that effective opposition to this pressure is only possible through an even greater unity of the states that share the same views about the new global order, similar to ours," the message reads.
The President noted that comprehensive strengthening of the ties with Venezuela remains a very important direction of the Belarusian foreign policy. "Maintaining an active and open dialogue at all levels is a guarantee of the successful implementation of various joint initiatives to ensure progress in both countries," stressed the Head of State.
Alexander Lukashenko wished Nicolas Maduro excellent health and fruitful activity while performing his responsible state mission, and to Venezuelans - peace and well-being.
