Another color revolution hot-spot appeared on the map of the CIS. All Belarus is following the events that are unfolding in Kazakhstan these days with anxiety and special attention, because the same technologies were tested on us in August 2020. And this is a vivid example of what could have happened if the government had not resisted.
The aggressively disposed people break into the outpatient clinics and hospitals, where they destroy property and equipment. In total, at least 500 citizens, including 130 women and elderly people, suffered as a result of extremist and radical attacks. Hundreds of vehicles were burned, including ambulances and fire trucks. Some state institutions were vandalized, the mayor's office, the prosecutor's office and the President's residence were burned. In Almaty, the unknown assailants also vandalized the editorial offices of the main mass media. The airport of the city was captured. There were victims among law enforcers. The criminals loot stores and ATMs. People began to withdraw cash from banks in panic. Rioters in Aktau took some servicemen hostage. KAMAZ trucks are used to bring boulders to the crowded places and attack police.
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko had telephone conversations with Russian President Vladimir Putin and President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev. The head of state consulted with his Russian and Kazakh counterparts on the situation in Kazakhstan. The leaders of all CSTO countries are in constant contact.
