A holiday of freedom and civil peace. Today is Russia Day. On June 12, 1990, the Russian Federation adopted a declaration of state sovereignty, a year later, the direct presidential elections were held. Starting in the morning, a festive program began in Moscow: large-scale concerts, folk festivities and festive fireworks at the end.
The Belarusian head of state congratulated Russian President Vladimir Putin on the holiday. Alexander Lukashenko noted that in the difficult geopolitical conditions Russia confidently defends its national interests, successfully implements plans to ensure dynamic socio-economic development. He expressed the conviction that the truly allied relations between Minsk and Moscow fully meet the interests of the fraternal peoples of both states.
