President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, on behalf of the Belarusian people and himself, has congratulated Bolu Tinubu on assuming the office of President of Nigeria, BELTA reports with reference to the press service of the Belarusian leader.
"I am convinced that your work as head of state will contribute to its further development and prosperity," reads the congratulatory message.
During the thirty years of Belarus-Nigeria cooperation a solid foundation for a comprehensive mutually beneficial partnership has been laid between the two countries, the head of state stressed.
"I am sure that this groundwork will help bring the cooperation in the spheres of supply and service of equipment, education, healthcare and maternal and child protection, industry, agriculture and food security to a brand new level," added the Belarusian leader. - I hope for further strengthening of the traditionally friendly relations for the benefit of the peoples of Belarus and Nigeria," he added.
Alexander Lukashenko invited Bolu Tinuba to visit Minsk at a time convenient for him in order to discuss the entire range of bilateral contacts in a personal meeting.
The Belarusian president wished the Nigerian president good health and success in his responsible state activity.
