President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko set a task to diversify drug supplies to prevent shortages in the domestic market. This was stated by the head of state during a meeting with the Minister of Health, Prosecutor General and Chairman of the State Security Committee.

"Referring to the fact that someone does not give us something or that we are lacking something. You know, our medical equipment and medicines are not under severe sanctions," pointed out the President. If the Americans do not sell you medicine, you can buy it in India, in Cuba. It's just a matter of flexibility. Therefore, references to the fact that we do not have enough drugs or something else, are not accepted.

The head of state instructed Prosecutor General Andrei Shved to take the issue of the supply of medicines and other products under control: "You know how to do it. It is necessary to control and supervise, so that the government would not be complacent. I don't involve them in any other issue but  economy. The economy and fight the sanctions - this is your field, so act. The ministers are not restricted in anything. "
