President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has congratulated the people of Denmark on the national holiday, the Constitution Day, BelTA informs.
"For many years Belarus and Denmark have been successfully developing cooperation in the fields of high technology, industry, livestock, climate protection and wind energy. We can rightly be proud of our high socio-economic standards that have become an excellent example for many countries around the world," reads the congratulatory message.
Today, these achievements are threatened by unjust sanctions and military hysteria, which brings nothing to both sides but a decline in living standards and uncertainty about the future, the Belarusian leader is convinced.
The head of the state noted with satisfaction that despite all contrived controversies Belarusians and Danes managed to maintain the ties, established over decades in trade, investment and cultural spheres.
"I am convinced that only an equal dialogue, mutual respect and continued bilateral cooperation will bring peace and tranquility to our common region," said the President.
Alexander Lukashenko wished the people of Denmark peace and prosperity.
