"Big Conversation with the President" as seen by national and foreign media

10 августа 2021

On August 9,  the President delivered a speech, which lasted more than 8 hours. All urgent topics of the past year were raised: migration, war, genocide,  pandemics. The meeting was attended by journalists and experts of the national and foreign press. The complete degradation of journalism in Britain and the United States has come to the surface. Viewers and readers of CNN, the BBC, the Wall Street Journal were shocked by the same-type, fake and boring questions about the same things. Hardly a coincidence, but during the Big Conversation, in London, angry citizens stormed the BBC headquarters shouting "shut down fake news," "stop lying" and "shut down the information concentration camp". We want very much to show solidarity, to defend the reputation and the right of our British colleagues to broadcast their beliefs. But in order to do so, they need to take a broader view of the world and Belarus, at least without fakes and cliches, and second, to notice the majority of British, and even American, society, whom they brainwash and whose interests they fail to take into account.

Two Wall Street Journal texts about Belarus were published. The first one appeared before the big talk. The headline was : "Lukashenko's influence in Belarus is growing a year after the election. Leader withstood domestic and foreign pressure with Russian support" and was actually an admission of defeat and impotence by the collective West and their agents in Belarus. But, after the Big Conversation, the journalists became simply panicked: "Belarus' Lukashenko Is Defiant After Wesr Imposes More Sanctions. Longtime leader dismissed his political opponents as foreign-backed agents". The journalist herself seems not to fully understand how it is possible to make fun of the USA and Great Britain, to rely on your own people and allies,  to call things by their proper names. After all, this is not common even in London now.  The whole world is tired of hypocrisy, double standards and propaganda of Western superiority. It ended even before the pandemic. Professional ethics is the only antidote. Author journalists are the heroes of our time. The boldness and independence of Belarus is annoying. The collective Wesr couldn't find anything to respond with but sanctions. But, firstly, only 3% of exports may be affected. Second, the new logistics of exports are beyond their control.

Refugees. Crimes Against Humanity

Several days ago, the  Lithuanian security forces left an insulin-dependent man to die, and today a pregnant woman is dragged unconscious to the Belarusian side. All together, these are crimes against humanity, with no statute of limitations. The hypocritical EU turns a blind eye to these facts, just like the concentration camps in Lithuania, where they torture with starvation,  covid and inhumane conditions.

"We only have summer clothes. Here's a young man, he's already sick, he could die. Look at these conditions. We appeal to Merkel, who is called "Mother." We appeal to all people, to all countries and to Germany in particular. We've been living like in prison for a month now. Here is a fence,  we can die here."

Everyone who needs help will get it, but Belarus does not intend to guard your borders, at least for free and in a hybrid war. If the Lithuanian regime collapses, that is your concern.  The riots on the subject of migration were aggravated by a protest against quarantine fascism. All those who go to Belarus to live and work from Ukraine, the Baltics, the former Soviet Union countries, those who honor the law and pay taxes, will receive  not just a residence permit, but a citizenship by the end of the year. A direct order to the head of the administration was given.

The Union relations with Russia are a quiet move towards deep integration. The Union programs will be signed by December. The last controversial point - equal gas prices or market access to the pipe - is about to be settled.
