The sale of agricultural enterprises to private traders is possible, but under the condition that there will be no harm to agricultural workers. Labor should provide for technological progress and be adequately paid for.

The quality of life in the countryside was discussed today at a meeting with the President in the Shklov district. The Head of State noted that over the past 15 years it was possible not only to save and restore the agricultural sector, but also to provide the necessary social standards. All this time the program of modernization of the agro-industrial complex has been in force. Further development of the industry is quite possible with participation of private capital. But the main things are worthy working conditions and adequate salary. Within the next 2 years it is necessary to bring the average salary in the agricultural sector to a thousand rubles

Today the Head of State visited the farms of the Kupalovskoye Agroholding. The focus is on implementation of the tasks to create an effective integrated agricultural association with a full cycle of production, processing and sale of products on the basis of the Shklov district farms. The Kupalovskoye Agroholding was registered a year ago. It includes three organizations. The President stressed that the current conditions demand new work rules in the agrarian sphere.

During the visit to the Bolshie Slaveny complex, the President was interested in the organization of work and drew attention to the fact that it is necessary to adopt the best advanced technologies, focusing on efficiency. Alexander Lukashenko reminded of labor discipline, and pointed to a number of shortcomings in the development of the complex.
