Inauguration of Alexander Lukashenko to be held on 6 November, 2015

According to the President’s press service, the inauguration of the newly elected President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko will be held on 6 November, 2015. For the first time the ceremony will take place at the Palace of Independence, where Alexander Lukashenko will take the oath of office and sign a relevant act.

The inauguration will be attended by more than 1,000 guests, including senior officials, members of the House of Representatives and the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly, leaders of various levels, diplomatic corps representatives and foreign guests. Then, the celebrations will move to the State Flag Square, where troops will take a loyalty oath to the Belarusian people and the President. The ceremony will be followed by a solemn march of the Honour Guard.

The inauguration ceremony will be broadcast live by Belteleradiocompany at 11:50.

In addition, on the occasion of the President’s inauguration the Palace of the Republic will host a celebratory concert Together to a New Day, featuring both adults and children, talented people from the country’s provinces and popular Belarusian artists, as well as famous compatriots living in different countries of the world.
