Alexander Lukashenko receives report of Head of Belarus President’s Property Management Directorate Viktor Sheiman

Head of Belarus President’s Property Management Directorate Viktor Sheiman has informed Alexander Lukashenko about his recent visit to the Republic of Zimbabwe. There, negotiations were held with the President of this country, the Chairman of the Reserve Bank, as well as leading ministers who oversee foreign affairs and international trade, mining and development of the extractive industry, agriculture, transport and infrastructure development. During the visit, cooperation in agriculture, transport, logistics, electricity, construction, education was discussed. Separately, the issue of supplies of Belarusian equipment to Zimbabwe was under consideration. As a result, agreements were reached on the establishment of enterprises, joint development of infrastructure, construction of railways, roads and creation of logistics centers. A special working group will work on the practical implementation of all agreements. During the trip, contracts were signed for the supply of logging, road-building, cargo equipment worth almost sixty million US dollars. During the working meeting with the President, new promising areas of work of the Belarus President’s Property Management Directorate on the territory of Belarus were also discussed, such as processing and production of agricultural products, as well as the sphere of information technologies.
