Diplomats of 12 countries present credentials to Head of Belarusian State

This strict ceremony finished with cordial informal socializing. When addressing the Ambassadors, Alexander Lukashenko stressed that Belarus is counting on the normalization of Belarusian-European relations and stands for the development of partnership with the countries of Africa, Latin America and the Middle East. The diplomatic mission of Lithuania is headed by Evaldas Ignatavicius. In the second half of 2013 this state will chair the European Union. And Belarus and Lithuania have many common interests, in particular, in the spheres of security, trade and industrial cooperation. According to the Belarusian leader, it is necessary to use and multiply the transport and logistics potential. Belarus is ready to make the Belarusian-Lithuania relations the model of authentic neighborliness.


Credentials were also presented to the President of Belarus by the Ambassadors of Angola, Chile, Cote d’Ivoire, Guatemala, Guinea-Bissau, Iran, Laos, Mexico, Nigeria, Peru and the Philippines. When addressing the foreign diplomats, Alexander Lukashenko expressed hope that the relations of Belarus with countries which they are representing will become a decent model of friendship and mutually advantageous cooperation.
