President of Belarus leaves for an official visit to India

On 11 and 12 September Alexander Lukashenko will hold talks and a number of official meetings with the leadership of India, including the meetings with President Ram Nath Covind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

In New Delhi, a business forum has already been held with participation of top managers of large companies. The Indian side was represented by 150 businessmen. As a result, 10 agreements have been reached, including those with pharmaceutical companies that will come on the market of Belarus. Important documents were signed with Bobruisk Agromash and Gomselmash. A joint venture was set up to produce agricultural machines and combines.

For a quarter of a century the commodity turnover between Belarus and India has almost reached half a million dollars. The main priorities are production cooperation, projects in science, pharmaceutics and investments.
