This was stated by President Alexander Lukashenko at yesterday's meeting with the country's top scientists. According to the President, there is a need for breakthrough projects relevant not only in Belarus, but also on the global arena. Intellectual potential should be used one hundred percent. The President outlined three principles that should become the basis of Belarusian science.
One of the key points discussed at the meeting was the introduction of scientific results into production. Talking to academicians, the President touched upon the issue of improving the systems of scientific organizations and economic incentives. Alexander Lukashenko also familiarized himself the latest developments in biomedicine, genetics, technology and space device engineering featured in an exhibition at the Academy of Sciences.
