Belarus and Georgia are preparing Alexander Lukashenko's visit to Tbilisi. This was stated after a meeting of the President with the Ambassador of Georgia on the occasion of the completion of his diplomatic mission. In the past 5 years, the leaders of the two countries exchanged official visits. Such a dialogue contributed to the development of a common economy.

Last year, the Belarusian-Georgian commodity turnover amounted to over $ 73 million. In 2017 – as of now – the figures are almost the same. The main export of Belarus to the Georgian market is high-tech industrial products. In total, more than 15 representative offices and distributors of Belarusian companies operate in Georgia.
