Such  an important statement was made  in Minsk at the meeting of the President of Belarus with Governor of Primorsky Krai Oleg Kozhemyako. The  meeting with the President began with a  solemn moment. For strengthening friendship and cooperation between Belarus and Russia, the governor was awarded the Order of Honor.

Vladivostok is called the Pacific Gates of Russia. This is a major economic center of the Far Eastern region. Of course, countries like China, Japan, Korea are much closer. But many cooperative ties have been preserved since Soviet times. As for the development of a common economy with  Primorsky Krai, the promising areas of cooperation range from the agro-industrial complex to industry. Our farmers are ready to join the regional agricultural development programs. There are already examples of successful projects for the construction of milk-producing complexes and agro-towns on the Sakhalin. There are plans to seriously increase the supply of BelAZ trucks. Moreover, coal mining at Ilyichevskoye field has begun. In addition to quarry machinery, Belarus can meet the needs of the region in road-building and logging machines and urban electric transport. There is a dealer center in Vladivostok, which provides full warranty and after-sales service for Belarusian MAZ trucks.
