Belarus ready to host UEFA Super Cup

Belarus and Europe may  have big joint projects in big sport. Our country is ready to host the UEFA Super Cup. The President said this at a meeting with the head of the Union of European Football Associations, Alexander Ceferin, who confirmed that Belarus is ready to host major international competitions.  

This trophy is contested by the winners of two of the most prestigious tournaments on the continent - Champions League and Europa League - at the end of each summer. 

Our football receives not only substantial financial, but also educational assistance - since 2008, almost 600 coaches have been trained on special courses. However, the lion's share of support for sport No. 1 is provided by the state and the whole program is being implemented for this purpose.
