President Alexander Lukashenko visits Minsk City Olympic Reserve Tennis Center

This year the Center has updated its infrastructure opening 11 new courts, a basketball and other sports grounds. Tennis is one of the world's most sports. The interest in it is growing in Belarus due to the triumph victories of our sportsmen. Over 100 indoor and outdoor courts have been established only in the capital. On the example of tennis the President instructed to build an effective system of selecting and training gifted sportsmen.

The Belarusian Tennis Federation is actively preparing athletes for the 2016 Summer Olympics. The possibility of establishing professional tennis in Belarus is now being considered. The President supported the idea of Minsk authorities to build a new tennis center in the Serebryanka district.
