Alexander Lukashenko receives credentials from new heads of diplomatic missions in Belarus

President Alexander Lukashenko today received credentials fr om the new leaders of diplomatic missions in Belarus. 11 representatives of the countries of Europe, Asia, Africa and South America gathered in the Palace of Independence.

The official Minsk is always open for all partners and is ready for any mutually beneficial projects. This year the Belarusian capital hosted two important international forums: the meeting of the foreign ministers of the Central European Initiative, wh ere Belarus is chairing for the first time, and the session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe. This is an effective platform for strengthening stability and security in the region. Another initiative of the Belarusian leader is to abandon geopolitical rivalry and expand the European organization. The Helsinki-2 project could become a global discussion structure.

As Alexander Lukashenko said today, the official Minsk is interested in this initiative being implemented.

Today the country maintains trade relations with more than 190 states. The most important export positions are oil, potash fertilizers, trucks and cars, tractors, tires, furniture, dairy and meat products. However, as the Head of State once again stressed, Belarus is ready to develop cooperation with countries on all continents on the basis of mutual respect and a balance of interests. We intend to strengthen political, economic and humanitarian ties between countries and various integration associations in both West and East.
