The most important issues of international security continue to be discussed in Minsk. President Alexander Lukashenko took part in the conference Eastern Europe: In Search of Security for All.

Minsk provides a qualitatively new platform for discussions about the present and future of regional and international security. It is no coincidence that the Minsk Dialogue forum is held in the Belarusian capital. Thanks to the multi-vector foreign policy of Belarus, the significance of Minsk is growing as a convenient place for any negotiations.

Alexander Lukashenko stated that modern international relations are becoming increasingly like the situation before the First World War. But Europe can and should set an example in resolving issues between the East and West.

During a large-scale discussion, many opinions were voiced on solving the world conflicts. Over the course of war in Ukraine, Belarus has hosted over 150,000 refugees and provided them with assistance in terms of finding a job, receiving medical care, as well as adapting socially and psychologically. Alexander Lukashenko is convinced that the only way to resolve any international dispute is to abandon residual emotions, resentments, and mutual accusations and turn to constructive dialogue.
