Yesterday, the President of Belarus arrived in Russia on a working visit. At the invitation of Vladimir Putin, government representatives will be present at a military parade in Moscow on Red Square, which will bring together representatives of 13 states, including leaders from Uzbekistan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Tajikistan and Serbia. Traditional May 9 celebrations in Russia were canceled due to the coronavirus epidemic and quarantine measures introduced. And although the situation with the spread of COVID-19 in a union country is still tense, the Russian authorities decided to hold a parade on June 24, so on that day the legendary parade of the 1945 winners took place. In addition to the Russian military, ceremonies of the Belarusian combined company of the guard of honor take part in it. In Belarus the sacred tradition was not violated, and despite the criticism, the military parade of the winners was held in Minsk on May 9.
