The head of the state also noted that about a thousand migrants were evacuated from Belarus to their home country. He especially emphasized that Minsk would not forcibly return people back home if they did not want to.
The refugees thanked Lukashenko for his support. Applause from grateful people was heard several times during the conversation with the head of state. Alexander Lukashenko appealed to the people of Germany: "Here are the majority of people who want to reunite their families. Take these people to you. It's a small burden for Germany. But the Poles are blocking it all."
The President also urged the Polish people to bring their politicians to their senses and let the refugees into Germany. It is obvious that the Polish authorities created a migration crisis on the border in order to distract attention from the internal problems.
For his part, the head of state promised to do everything possible to help people. At the end of his speech, the President invited refugees to ask questions. Open microphones were prepared especially for the event. People thanked Alexander Lukashenko for everything good, mainly for the fact that they were given a transportation and logistics center with walls and a roof over their heads. People understand perfectly well that Western, European countries have had a hand in what is happening in their native countries for refugees. The head of state listened attentively to the people and proposed them to pass all their questions and wishes.
After the meeting with the refugees, the President answered the questions of the journalists.
Belteleradiocompany will continue to follow the events at the border.
