Alexander Lukashenko visits Minsk Tractor Plant

Minsk Tractor Plant (MTZ) has turned 74. On a landmark day for the company, the President arrived at the factory. MTZ is one of the ten world's major producers of agricultural machinery. The company develops and manufactures wheeled and caterpillar tractors, and provides services. Every 10th wheeled tractor in the world is of Belarusian production. About 90% of the tractors are exported. This year, more than 10 thousand tractors rolled off the assembly line. The company has adopted and approved a development strategy until 2030. It includes the development of production facilities in Belarus and abroad. The head of state got familiar with the technological process on the conveyor. MTZ works steadily, there are even vacancies. While visiting  the plant, Alexander Lukashenko pointed to the correctness of the decision made in Belarus not to stop the production in the current situation.
