Alexander Lukashenko confirms the inviolability of the Belarusian-Russian cooperation, including in trade, economic and the military spheres, our countries are taking measures together in the fight against coronavirus. The President of Belarus stated this during the protocol part of the meeting with Vladimir Putin. The heads of states also discussed the Belarusian-Russian tactical trainings, which started today. Such military events are held almost every month during the year. Alexander Lukashenko is convinced that we should not ask anyone whether or not we should conduct such exercises. The agenda also includes the implementation of large bilateral projects, integration issues of the Union State, joint response to emerging challenges. The Belarusian leader thanked the Russian side and Vladimir Putin personally for their support in a difficult political period.
The meeting continues in private right now. The negotiations between Alexander Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin are taking place in Sochi in the territory of the Bocharov Ruchey residence.
