President Alexander Lukashenko set the task of preserving the stability of Belarus’ tax system at yesterday’s meeting in the Palace of Independence, during which draft decrees relating to bringing individual legal acts in compliance with the Tax Code, which came into force on 1 January, were submitted for his consideration. The amendments affect mainly rent for land plots and some administrative procedures, such as charging patent and state fees.
Following the meeting, Alexander Lukashenko generally approved the submitted documents and instructed to carry out their revision in view of the discussions held.
