Even in peacetime, the role of internal troops is great. This was stated today by the President of Belarus during his visit to the military unit 54-48 in Minsk.
On the eve of the 100th anniversary of the formation of internal troops, various festive events take place, but instead of being present at the celebrations, the Head of State preferred to familiarize himself with the military life: to see how the weekdays are going there, how the officers are being trained. The Head of State visited literally every object in the territory: from the rooms with equipment, some of which turned out to be empty and unclaimed, to classes, barracks and even a dining room.
