The participants of the meeting discussed the production of new weapons models incuding medium range missiles. The President was also interssted in the work of air repair plants in Orsha and Baranovichi. These enterprizes are stable and are fully charged.
The Belarusian army should be equipped with state of the art weapons, said the Belarusian President at the meeting with the Chair of the State Committee of Military Industry Roman Golovchenko. Alexander Lukashenko initiated the modernisation of the Belarusian army, due to which it has samples of arms that could hardly be dreamt of 5-7 years ago. The export of arms to more than 70 countries brings Belarus about $1 bn of revenues.
