Organizational issues of preparation for one of the most important political forums were discussed today at the Palace of Independence. The event began one hour later than the scheduled time: the President's schedule was changed in light of the internal political situation, which cannot but affect the preparation for the meeting. Commenting on what is happening on the streets, especially in the capital, Alexander Lukashenko noted that this was no longer an information war, but a real terrorist threat. The authorities and law enforcement officers will react to this accordingly.
The President once again emphasized that only the Belarusian people will decide how we would continue to live, and this is especially important given external pressure on our country.
Alexander Lukashenko stressed that it is important to carefully approach the composition of the participants in the future meeting. Representatives of all segments of society should be present, different opinions should be heard. The All-Belarusian People's Assembly is a dialogue, not a monologue. Traditionally, the forum conducts a kind of work on mistakes and determines the country's path for the next five years.
