Alexander Lukashenko takes part in Second Regional Forum of Belarus and Ukraine

The issues discussed at the Forum range from big politics, economic projects to humanitarian cooperation and even sports. The day before, Alexander Lukashenko took part in the II Regional Forum of Belarus and Ukraine and negotiated with his colleague Volodymyr Zelensky in Zhytomyr.

Belarus and Ukraine are interested in expanding exports and introducing innovative technologies. The Presidents discussed cooperation in the oil field, the restoration navigation on the Dnieper, the development of port facilities, rocket science and the creation of joint enterprises. Alexander Lukashenko stated that Belarus is ready to study the proposals of Ukraine to intensify bilateral partnership. The first meeting of the leaders will be a big step towards strengthening and developing long-standing relations between the states.

In the presence of the Presidents, the relevant ministers and governors signed several interdepartmental and 10 regional documents. The meeting of the leaders in Zhytomyr received a wide response from the journalists and ordinary Ukrainians.

The II Forum in Zhytomyr has ended  and proved its worth. The interstate and specific agreements between regions have been signed.
