Meeting of Eurasian Intergovernmental Council opens in Kyrgyzstan on August 19

A meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council opens today in Kyrgyzstan. It will be held in person. Prime Minister of Belarus will be represented at the negotiations by Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko. The Heads of Government of the Eurasian Economic Union will consider issues of insurance support of mutual and foreign trade, the convergence of non-tariff measures and export customs duties. The road map for the formation of a common market of organic agricultural products is also in the spotlight. The bilateral meetings of heads of governments are also planned.
