This morning Johannes Khan met with the head of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry Vladimir Makei. The diplomats discussed the relations between Minsk and Brussels including the development of trade-economic and investment cooperation, contacts in the field of international technical assistance, strengthening of political dialogue. Also, one of the points was the goals agreed upon at the Brussels summit of the Eastern Partnership. Vladimir Makei noted the importance of the visit of Johannes Khan for the development of bilateral relations.
Today Johannes Khan will meet with the head of the Belarusian government. A new strategy of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development was approved. It is targeted at modernization of transport, customs and water-cleaning infrastructure, as well as projects in the banking sector.
