12 May marked Israel’s Independence Day. President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko congratulated the country’s President and people on their national holiday. It is gratifying that the two countries have decided to maintain diplomatic traditions - the Israeli Embassy has returned to Belarus and vice versa.
Correspondent Larisa Gulyakevich has met with Belarusian Ambassador Vladimir Skvortsov in Israel and interviewed him about the return of the diplomatic missions, a visa-free regime, as well as about contemporary relations between Minsk and Tel Aviv.
