The topical issues of cooperation were discussed in Minsk today by the Ministries of Internal Affairs of Belarus and Georgia. Igor Shunevich and Georgy Mgebrishvili touched upon the most pressing issues of our time: fight against cyber-crime, illegal drug trafficking and terrorism. In addition, the head of the department signed a memorandum for mutual understanding in the field of rehabilitation of children of employees of law enforcement bodies. According to Igor Shunevich, guests from Georgia will be able to have rest in Belarusian health resorts this year.
The delegation of Georgia also visited the anti-terrorist unit Almaz. As Mr. Mgebrishvili noted that his country attaches great importance to relations with Belarus in the cultural, social and economic fields.
