The OSCE should be used to the full extent to reduce the risks of military confrontation in Europe. This was announced by Foreign Minister of Belarus Vladimir Makey today in Vienna at the 24th meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the OSCE participating States. Today, European security remains in deep crisis. As the minister notes, Belarus is in favor of developing a new regime to control conventional arms. It is also necessary to strengthen the role of the OSCE in building partnerships to combat terrorism, cybercrime, human trafficking, drug trafficking and migration. The Minister also recalled the initiative of President Alexander Lukashenko to launch a new Helsinki process - a broad dialogue on overcoming existing contradictions and lack of trust in relations between the countries in the Euro-Atlantic and Eurasian space.
