OSCE Ministerial Council concludes in Vienna

The OSCE Ministerial Council of foreign ministers has concluded in Vienna, Austria. A number of documents were adopted. Among them is an agreement on combating the sexual exploitation of children. Belarus was one of the proponents of the initiative.

Within the framework of the summit, the head of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry – Vladimir Makei – held working meetings with his colleagues from Canada, Sweden and the United Kingdom. The ministers discussed the development of bilateral cooperation and the situation in the region.

Also, Vladimir Makei met with the NATO's Deputy Secretary General and the OSCE Secretary General. The Belarusian minister noted that the key direction of the OSCE's activity is the settlement of conflicts within its territories – from Nagorno-Karabakh to Ukraine.
