Vienna to host CEI and OSCE expert meeting

Today will see a high-level expert meeting in Vienna, organized by the secretariats of the Central European Initiative and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe. The event will be dedicated to overcoming the negative social and economic consequences of uncontrolled migration in Europe.

Dmitry Mironchik, Head of the Information Department, Press Secretary of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry: “This will be the first joint event of the kind, organized by the CEI and the OSCE. The meeting will discuss the key aspects of responding to uncontrolled migration. The goal of the event is to work out concrete recommendations in support of new initiatives that are aimed at improving measures for managing large migration flows at the regional and sub-regional levels”.

The holding of the meeting is established under the program of Belarus’ presidency of the Central European Initiative this year.
