CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly begins in St. Petersburg

International cooperation, economics and security issues. Today the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of the CIS began its work in St. Petersburg. Hundreds of parliamentarians fr om the Commonwealth countries will gather in Tavrichesky Palace. This is wh ere the headquarters of the CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly is located. The heads of Parliament and delegations from 9 countries will gather at the negotiating table. These are Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan

The participants will discuss 11 model bills on legal issues, economics and finance, in particular, they will talk about pricing and the tax code for the states of the Commonwealth and youth cooperation,  joint educational projects and student exchange. They will also discuss the program and topics of the VI Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia. It will be held in July in St. Petersburg.
