Minsk hosts meeting of Contact Group for settlement conflict in Eastern Ukraine

The next round of talks of the Contact Group for the settlement of the conflict in the east of Ukraine will take place today in Minsk. 3 working subgroups started their work the day before. Since July 1 the so-called grain truce is effective in Donbass. At a meeting on July 25, representatives of the contact group noted with satisfaction the reduction in the intensity of shelling, as well as the reduction in the number of casualties on the contact line. We can expect that the security issue will again be one of the main issues at the meeting. On the eve of the new academic year, the parties will most likely try to agree on the entry into force of the silence regime.
